Position: Careers IAG Advisor
Salary: £31,719 - £35,667 Per annum (pro rated for part time hours)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Sheffield
Hours: 18.5 Hours per week X 52 Weeks per year

About the Role
If you’ve worked in careers, you understand the challenges of providing a properly impartial CEIAG service free from bureaucracy. As an organisation we recognise the value of a high-quality & impartial CEIAG provision and have a work culture that values and supports the CEIAG services, allowing you to focus on what’s best for the learners.
As a Careers IAG Advisor with The Sheffield, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives by helping them navigate their educational and career paths. The focus on high-quality and impartial advice ensures that you can provide the best possible support for our Students. This role is in the Student Participation and Careers Team in the college Student Employability Services Department.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing and supporting with multiple projects and events
• Providing personalised career advice to students
• Developing and maintain strong relationships with students, understanding their individual needs, aspirations, and challenges.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents and external partners to create a supportive network for students.
• Supporting our students to progress, whether that is in college, University or employment
