The Vacancy
Position Summary
We are on the lookout for a HR Data Analyst to provide and develop reporting and analytical capability within the HR function, to enable decision making and insight to the business by connecting HR metrics to business strategy delivery. The HR Data Analyst will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with HR colleagues to define and understand strategic objectives and develop meaningful and actionable metrics to help drive decisions.
You will collaborate with the various departments in HR to provide the data, analysis and insights required to deliver on strategic objectives, and enable decision making by the HR leadership team to be based on data and strong analysis. You will also prepare and deliver high quality reports/statistical analysis for presentations and other material on behalf of the HR function, as well as deliver and evolve integrated reporting to the business utilizing all available data sources (Internal & External).
Job Responsibilities
Support the entire HR cycle relating to performance management and employee engagement, including compensation and benefit reviews and all associated analytics and reporting requirements.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of a large volume of employee data for the business units, working closely with HR contacts at various plants to validate employee information, organization structure, reporting lines and employee movements.
Support HR Analytics in analysis of the data for HR areas like payroll, compensation and rewards, recruitment, workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and diversity, equity & inclusion
Prepare and consolidate reports and data to present to Senior Management and key stakeholders by reviewing employee data and align any discrepancies while adhering to a central benchmark.
Assist with the creation and reporting of HR analytics for external reporting, and report on current and future status using all available Power BI dashboards.
Act as a central point of contact for the consolidation of all People data to support decision making within the business unit.
Provide basic analysis and project management support on for ad hoc projects and initiatives.
Continually consider new ways of working and highlight any suggested process or efficiency enhancements which would benefit the team or the business.
Act as a go to person for all “non-technical” support on existing HR dashboards and reports
Experience & Qualifications
2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, having worked with multicultural teams and should have the ability to produce bespoke reporting and accurate narrative.
Strong experience working with SQL, Microsoft Power BI and have key skills with data analysis/advanced Excel and developing reports.
Demonstratable project management skills are vital for this role.
Working knowledge of HR best practices and industry standards
Resilient and able to effectively balance multiple priorities in line with deadlines
Able to work in a fast-pace, matrixed environment
Passionate about data and data visualization tools
Great communication and project management skills
