The Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for a 14 month maternity cover within our Response Resource & Scheduling team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing skills and develop your knowledge of our responsive repairs service.
What you'll be doing
As a Resource & Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our Response Repairs operational teams, ensuring works are planned and coordinated effectively to deliver a high quality service to our customers. You will have responsibility for the day to day scheduling of responsive repairs, balancing priorities, skills, location and customer commitments to make the best use of available resources.
The role plays an important part in ensuring repairs are managed and delivered within required timescales, supporting our commitment to excellent customer service, operational performance and efficient service delivery.
The role will involve maintaining accurate records and working across several systems to ensure appointments are correctly booked, updated and progressed, maintaining accurate information at all times.
You will provide advice and support to customers while working closely with trade operatives, supervisors, colleagues and contractors, building strong working relationships to ensure the best possible outcomes. This includes helping to prioritise urgent repairs, reacting quickly to changes in demand and ensuring work is allocated efficiently to support operational performance targets.
We'll provide you with a structured training programme to help you build your knowledge of the service and systems you'll be using. You'll also work alongside the wider team to develop the knowledge needed to effectively support our Response Repairs colleagues.
About you

You'll need to be organised, able to react quickly when priorities change and be confident managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You'll have strong attention to detail and be comfortable making decisions in a fast paced environment.
Experience using Uniclass, ROCC and DRS would be desirable, although not essential. You'll be comfortable learning new systems and ensuring information is always accurate and up to date.
You'll be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive working relationships with operatives, supervisors, customers and contractors. You'll understand the importance of excellent customer service and take pride in helping to deliver a responsive, efficient and reliable repairs service.
