The role

M&Y Maintenance and Construction are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to assist the Company's planned growth in delivering high quality new homes across the North West.

As a Quantity Surveyor at M&Y you'll be an integral part of the Construction Team working on a variety of project types including a mix of tenures of new build apartments, houses and refurbishments.

Your role will include managing costs, ensuring projects stay within budget and providing expert advice to maximise value. You’ll work closely with contractors, suppliers and colleagues helping to deliver high quality projects to support our aim to regenerate places.

The right fit

You’ll be a confident, capable communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
You’ll have a broad range of commercial skills and demonstrable experience in managing costs and maximising value.
Qualifications are desired not essential.
Good working knowledge of JCT suite of contracts along with demonstrable main contractor experience.
You’ll be organised and methodical to ensure deadlines are achieved on time.
You have the ability to run and manage multiple projects concurrently.
A full UK driving license is essential.
