This is a {Advertised Permanent / Temporary}, {Advertised Full Time / Part Time} vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

This role is ideal if you’re looking to use your SEND experience to raise awareness and upskill other staff to better support low & medium need students!

It’s a truly varied role, as well as building skills for existing staff you’ll also assess the needs of learners and draft support plans, Work with Health & Safety on inclusive risk assessments, and support exam access arrangements.

This role is ideal if you:

  • Are passionate about empowering other members of staff to be able to tailor their delivery for SEND students and provide quality teaching

  • Want a varied role where you will work cross-college with multiple teams

  • Are looking for a step up in responsibility and can line manage LSA’s where required

 You will be responsible for:

  • Advising staff including Lecturers, Personal tutors & Student mentors

  • Assessing the support requirements of low and medium need students

  • Promote student Independence through SMART targets

  • Collating and storing exam access arrangement evidence

  • Providing guidance on the completion of Inclusive Risk Assessments

  • Line managing LSA staff where applicable
