This is a Permanent, vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and consolidation for our Captive Management division. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the development of processes, the integration and reconciliation of recent/new of acquisition balance sheets. This activity will support financial reporting and KPIs, including streamlining delivery time. The role will require occasional travel to Bermuda to support integration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, assess and improve the financial reporting control environment, including establishing relevant policies and procedures and ensuring compliance.
  • Liaising with and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Prepare the businesses for migration to a single general ledger system
  • Oversight and management of day-to-day finances
  • Cash flow management
  • Management of external audit for regulated entities
  • Financial integration of any acquisitions
  • Process improvement and standardisation

 

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Qualified accountant
  • Strong people management & development skills to embed new processes
  • Advanced technical skills in management accounting
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, in particular Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects & processes simultaneously
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to distil complex technical information into clear simple messages
  • High level of analytical skills and reconciliation activity
