About the role

We are currently seeking Multi-Trade Operatives within carpentry, plumbing and roofing to provide an efficient responsive repair, maintenance and refurbishment service, ensuring correct quality of work to enable objective achievement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all allocated (multi-trade) jobs in time and within budget. 

  • Achieve Team SLA’s as defined by organisational requirements

  • To work within agreed objectives and time scales  to meet the performance criteria 

  • Proactively assist in the successful development of IT systems to improve Customer Service  service delivery 

  • Compliance with all statutory and regulatory  requirements 

  • Responsible for ensuring the correct quality of  work and taking appropriate action where  necessary. 

  • Complete work of other trades when reasonably required.  

 

About you

  • Demonstrable practical skills in building repair,  maintenance and refurbishment to domestic  properties, particularly in social housing. 

  • Ability to deal sensitively with a wide variety of types of customers and provide an individual service 

  • Housing Sector standards and regulations relating to the repair and maintenance of Social Housing.  

  • Experience of using integrated housing  repairs/maintenance systems  

  • Good communication skills.  

  • Primary trade in either carpentry, plumbing or roofing with experience of other relevant trades.

  • Must be multi skilled and have experience of working in void properties

  • Experience of working for a housing association 

  • Experience of working with a PDA

  • Sound knowledge of health and safety familiar to area

  • Full driving licence is required
