Location: Sheffield

Hours: 37 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

The Sheffield College is a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually. About the Role

Are you an experienced Business Development Consultant, who can manage multiple workloads across diverse sectors? Do you have experience of working in a corporate commercial environment or have an interest in engaging with local businesses? If so, then this role could be the perfect opportunity for you to become a strategic leader and to start your career as an Employer Relationship Coordinator for the Sheffield College.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the work with departments to implement an effective cross college approach to placements, tasters, paid work, voluntary work, and projects  
  • Be a key driver in the cross college Co-deign Co-delivery project including the obtaining of external stakeholder leads 
  • Develop productive working relationships with employers to achieve outstanding outcomes for students
  • work collaboratively with other departmental teams to raise the profile of the College in the local community 
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety team and employers to ensure all industry placements comply with the college policy
  • Champion our commitment to putting students first
  • Exemplify our values of Fairness, Respect & Equality

Skills & Knowledge
