Cleaning Operative

£11.24 Per hour (15-20 Hours per week)

 

The Sheffield College Estates department is an ideal fit if you’re looking for a role with a company that genuinely appreciates its cleaning staff. 

We’re looking for cleaning operatives to come on board and join the friendly cleaning team at Hillsborough Campus, 5:30am - 8:30am (15 hours per week) additional hours above 15 can be discussed at interview.

As well as amazing opportunities for further development and progression, working within an FE college, you’ll have time off to put your feet up over the winter holidays. 

You’ll also be in good hands while you are at work as the team's manager has recently won the yearly college-wide award for Supporting their staff!

 

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Vacuuming
  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Refuse removal
  • Using cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Championing our commitment to putting students first
  • Promoting our values of fairness, respect & equality

 

After your first year with us, success would look like:

  • Maintained great levels of service in your designated areas
  • Enthusiastically engaged with the college's dedicated training & development programmes
  • Built Strong working relationships and supported colleagues where possible
