We have an exciting position available for a Communications Officer to join our team!
As a Communications Officer at One Manchester, your main responsibility will be to deliver effective campaigns by creating compelling copy and content, developing marketing materials, and producing engaging promotional content.
You will work closely with the managers in the Communications team and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
Additionally, you’ll share responsibility for maintaining and updating One Manchester’s website and social media platforms, monitoring and responding to inquiries and comments on social media, and assisting in the coordination of events and community engagement activities.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
Familiarity with analytics tools and ability to analyse data to inform decision-making
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas
Knowledge of housing associations or the social housing sector is an advantage
Proficiency in using software tools for video production and photography is a plus
Excellent writing skills with ability to adapt style to different communications channels and audiences
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
