Job Responsibilities

  • Discover the group Freight & Logistics landscape through spend reporting / analytics, process mapping, network design assessment , gap assessment.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting logistics data from various sources, including transportation systems, warehouses, and customer orders.
  • Developing and implementing logistics analytics strategies that align with organizational goals, such as improving delivery times, reducing transportation costs, and enhancing inventory management.
  • Creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, such as logistics managers, transportation planners, and customer service teams.
  • Identifying and prioritizing logistics improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis, such as route optimization, carrier selection, and inventory management.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement logistics optimization projects, such as automation, network optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Conducting market research and benchmarking to support logistics decision-making, such as identifying trends in transportation rates, warehouse rental costs, and customer preferences.
  • Developing and maintaining logistics performance metrics and KPIs, such as on-time delivery, freight spend, and inventory turnover.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to logistics leadership to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity through regular quality checks and validations.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging logistics trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 03 – 04 years’ experience as a Supply Chain / Logistics Operations professional / Consultant / analytics professional
  • Should have end to end knowledge of Demand Planning, Procurement , Inventory management , Warehousing & Storage , Transportation, Order Fulfilment , related technologies & systems.
  • Comfortable with building complex analytical models using MS Excel.
  • Able to work on Large Data Sets, Able to work in a dynamic environment focused on tangible outputs
  • Basic to Minimum Working Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is an added advantage.
  • Good with Executive Presentations
  • Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Should analyse functional/non-functional requirements and seek clarifications for better understanding of requirements.
  • Good Mathematical Aptitude, Problem Solving approach, Path-Finder, Good with Logical Reasoning and Structured Thought Making.
