As a Head of Quality, Teaching, Learning and Assessment (HQTLA) you will take on a leading role in achieving teaching and learning excellence.
Working closely with the Assistant Principal for Adult Skills, ESOL & Employability, you will implement and monitor the college’s strategy as we push on in our journey from Good to Great!

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
Empowering staff to seek constant improvement in teaching, learning and assessment practices by being an inspirational leader who has built up strong working relationships with the curriculum team
Ensuring a high-quality student experience that leads to outstanding achievement, progression and employability outcomes for all students
Leading a team while sharing best practice and innovations cross-college to enhance the quality of teaching, learning and assessment
Developing policies and procedures to ensure the college complies with the relevant legal duties
Produce reports and analyse the information to make data-based quality decisions
Championing our commitment to putting students first
Promoting our values of fairness, respect & equality

Be autonomous and driven, able to make difficult decisions while helping create excellent continuous development programmes for staff colleagues
