Salary Range £15,038 - £16,909

If you’ve worked in careers, you understand the challenges of providing a properly impartial CEIAG service free from bureaucracy

As a Careers IAG Advisor with The Sheffield College, you’ll have the freedom to focus on simply providing a fantastic CEIAG service and doing what’s best for learners, in an organisation that correctly recognises the value of a high-quality & impartial CEIAG provision.

 

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing & delivering a high-quality CEIAG programme to curriculum academies
  • Collaborating cross-college to maintain benchmarks & ‘Quality in Careers’ standards
  • Organising career events and liaising with partners
  • Facilitating improvements to employability & progression skills through guidance
  • Providing IAG at transition points for students with EHC plans & SEND requirements
  • Champion our commitment to putting students first
  • Exemplify our values of Fairness, Respect & Equality

 

After your first year, success in this role would mean you have:

  • Continuation of ‘Quality in Careers’ standard
  • Continuation of ‘Matrix’ standard
  • Marked improvement in student satisfaction for CEIAG provision

 

We’re open-minded and welcome all applicants who believe they would be a good fit. Though ideally, you will:

  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 6 Careers qualification
  • A degree
  • GCSE English & Mathematics (Grade C/4) or equivalent
  • Have proven experience in providing careers IAG
