About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager to join our Asset Data & Strategy Team. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate their commitment to delivering high-quality projects to an excellent standard. Reporting to the Strategic Asset Manager, this role is key to delivering our Corporate Plan objective: to create and provide quality, sustainable homes and neighbourhoods.
As a Technical Manager, your role will be central to the coordination of planning activities prior to the delivery stage, such as managing associated permissions, pre-contract agreements (e.g., party wall matters), and specification reviews. You will act as a key liaison between internal departments to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and specifications remain fit for purpose. You’ll provide technical advice on specifications, support complex case reviews, and contribute to strategic asset management decisions.
Role Summary
Oversee the delivery of stock condition and HHSRS surveying programmes.
Provide technical expertise in building defects and complex issues.
Support pre- and post-contract activities including permissions, party wall agreements, and technical specifications.
Act as the conduit between the asset surveyor team and senior management.
Ensure long-term, strategic resolutions to property asset issues.
Bring experience in Building Surveying, Project Management, and Property Asset Management Surveys.
Manage and coordinate a team of surveyors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
