What new technologies can you bring to Longhurst Group?

Do you have a background in implementing major technology projects? Do you possess a keen attention to detail with an ability to identify, develop and successfully implement business improvements? If this is you then we would like to invite you to apply for our ICT Project Manager role.

Working alongside our Programme Manager your work will have a big technological impact on Longhurst Group. You will personally be responsible for leading and implementing new technologies into the organisation. You will collaborate with the ICT Programme Manager to deliver our ICT and organisational strategy.

A key area of the work you do when you join us will be to identify, develop and successfully implement business improvements to processes.   You’ll be working with our senior stakeholders and use your skills in relationship management to ensure that issues, projects and implementation are managed effectively.

Ensuring the Business and the Project team work well together to identify business requirements, creating project briefs, creating project plans, producing business cases and completing gap analysis before securing agreement to proceed shows that no two days will ever be the same.

Using your keen attention to detail you’ll identify and recommend action to reduce risk, you’ll work with our suppliers and be responsible for monitoring the project days and the incoming invoices. This role will give you the ability to really showcase your project management skills.

About you

In your career you will have worked through various projects and have a structured understanding of project management methodologies. Having worked with varied IT systems in your career you will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and an ability to deliver system related projects.

Systematic in your approach you can produce clear reports whilst taking a visionary outlook and seeking new ways of achieving your objectives and projects.

You consider yourself as an individual who can build strong relationships with your stakeholders and gain buy-in from those around you. Your colleagues would describe you as an expert in management and delivery of successful projects, monitoring and controlling all elements of the projects to ensure a timely delivery of a quality product

This role is offered on a permanent 36.25hr per week basis, whilst working from home you will be required to undertake some travel to our Boston office.
