The role

We are looking for a Multi- Skilled plasterer to join our team at M&Y Maintenance and  Construction. You will need to be a skilled plasterer along side an additional skill of joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, Tiling, Groundworks, Roofing or Glazing

The purpose of this role is to complete all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction. To communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers and customers. 

It is a great time to join the repairs team at M&Y as there is a continually growing and diverse pipeline of work. In line with our 5-year growth plans, we are expanding our services and working with various clients across the North West so come and join our busy and thriving repairs and maintenance team. Our repairs team is supported by our dedicated planners, supervisors and managers so you will be joining a great, supportive team with a high focus on values such as team work and high performance.

The right fit

  • You will competent in at least two of the following trades (one of which must be plastering): Joinery Plumbing Plastering Tiling Groundworks Roofing Glazing NVQ level 2 qualification in core trade (or equivalent)
  • Full awareness of relevant H&S requirements and considerations
  • Experience of working with Housing Associations and managing repairs is desirable.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work and liaise with a team
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • A basic DBS is a requirement for this role
