We’re looking for an innovative PPM Manager to take on a leadership role in our established & successful building management team!

The first step in offering an excellent education to Sheffield's young people is making sure they have the right environment to learn in.

That's where you'll come in. Ideally, you'll be a time-served professional who’s looking to join an efficient estates provision and enjoy the better work-life balance, benefits, and positive culture that a public sector role offers!

You’ll have considerable managerial and professional autonomy, giving input into college-wide plans with long-term impact. Apply now or get in touch if you’re ready for a change of environment and want to see why so many of us love working at the college!

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring assets are maintained and monitored through CAFM, reporting on trends and areas for focus

  • Managing the College’s PPM programme. Effectively planning maintenance resources, ensuring minimal downtime & high reliability

  • Supervising and monitoring the work of maintenance contractors

  • Providing technical expertise, advice and assistance

  • Monitoring utility costs & instigating measures to reduce

  • Monitoring and managing energy using BEMS

After your first year with us, success in this role will look like:

  • Met service objectives for the department and closely monitored and maintained the quality of service

  • You’ve been able to ensure the provision is amended in the light of any relevant changes in legislation or regulations

  • You have made good decisions on resource allocation

We are open-minded and welcome all applicants who believe they would be a good fit. Though ideally, you will:

  • Hold multi-site and multi-discipline management experience

  • Have experience with BEM & CAFM systems

  • Hold strong knowledge of regulations and compliances

  • Have experience managing M&E contracts

There’s nothing by-the-numbers about working in estates with us, here’s why:

  • Large, well-staffed team with adequate funding and support

  • Industry-leading CPD programme to allow you to develop new skills

  • Outstanding benefits, annual leave and pension package!

Apply today if you’re ready to take the next step in your professional journey and see how rewarding a role in education can be.
