The Vacancy
We have a really interesting opportunity for a highly driven candidate to join our team to support our Programme Manager in delivering a robust investment programme. You'll be helping to monitor, evaluate and report on performance, and using data insights will look to drive continuous improvement across our housing portfolio on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
This is a full-time role, offering home or hybrid working with flexibility to travel across our operating areas in the South of England as required.
What you’ll be doing
You will play a key role in ensuring our investment programmes are accurate, efficient and data led. Day to day, you will support the Programme Manager in producing annual investment programmes for housing stock, working closely with Investment Managers to understand operational requirements and priorities. You will update programmes of work in collaboration with Contract Managers and Technical Coordinators, ensuring all changes are accurately recorded, and attend weekly meetings to review referrals, track progress and monitor budgets.
The role includes responding to day-to-day enquiries relating to planned works, complaints and property data, as well as monitoring the progress of planned works programmes and presenting updates and findings to senior managers where appropriate.
You’ll also be responsible for improving data quality within the Asset Management System by validating, investigating and correcting information, as well as identifying system and process issues and working with teams to improve usage and provide targeted support or training. A key part of the role involves analysing investment programmes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and resource utilisation and using data insight to highlight where investment priorities may conflict with wider business decisions.
You’ll review reports to identify areas for improvement or further investigation, support the Programme Manager in developing cost models for 1, 3–5 and 10-year budget planning, and produce accurate, reliable data outputs to support strategic decision-making.
In addition, you will interpret complex datasets, investigate issues and make evidence-based recommendations, working proactively to identify opportunities for improved data analysis and business efficiency, while building strong working relationships across departments to support effective decision-making and positive customer outcomes.
