Great customer service is at the heart of our Residential Services Assistant roles, as you will be integral to ensuring a positive experience for students and customers.  Approachable and organised, you’ll assist with a variety of duties including Reception, Security, Maintenance (such as changing light bulbs) and setting up the conference / training rooms and on occasion be responsible for driving college transport. You’ll be a customer-focussed individual who is committed to living our values and delivering outstanding service to our students and customers. You will provide a professional, efficient, courteous service answering queries both over the phone and face-to-face and providing information as requested. You’ll take ownership of queries and liaise with the stakeholders to ensure customer fulfilment. Self-motivated with a positive approach, you will enjoy working with people in a hands-on role. No two days will ever be the same, so flexibility and a willingness to assist with a multitude of tasks is essential

 

Ideally you will have experience within a customer facing role with a good telephone manner to ensure that our high standards are continuously met. You’ll know how to handle and resolve a variety of queries and requests in a calm and reasonable way. You’ll enjoy working in a busy team and adapt positively to changing customer demands and be able to juggle a variety of tasks simultaneously. With a flexible approach to work, you will be able to work a rotating shift pattern. Due to the nature of the role, ideally you will have a full, UK driving licence, although this is not essential.

There are nine full time positions (35 hours a week) - fixed term  until 30 June 2022 and 2 x part time position available with various shift patterns available, (FT any 5 days from 7):

 

  • Monday - Friday 6pm - 2am
  • Monday - Friday Midnight - 8am
  • Flexible any 5 days from 7
  • Saturday & Sunday 8am - 8pm plus 13 hours during the week
  • Saturday & Sunday 8pm - 8am plus 13 hours during the week
