Our career opportunities
Across the East Midlands, our nine primary and secondary academies passionately believe in giving the young people of our communities the very best chance in life to progress and develop.
What we do
It takes a diverse group of individuals and teams to drive continuous school improvement and operate effectively and efficiently as an organisation. There are many roles across our group of academies and in central functions. We all work towards the goal of ensuring our pupils and students get the best out of their time with us – and leave with a clear plan for the next stage in their journey.
As well as teaching and trainee teaching roles, we employ staff in student support services, IT, estates and facilities management to name a few. Your skills, talents and experience will add to the diversity of our workforce and that of our academies. Join us, and you'll find yourself in a vibrant, stimulating and varied environment.
Why join us?
Students and their learning, growth and development are at the heart of everything we do and this helps nurture an environment that's all about people achieving their potential – including our employees. We work hard to create the opportunities they need to develop their skills so they can build a career with us.
Our size also brings lots of advantages. Our CPD network offers staff significant professional development, and across our partnership there are many opportunities for employees to develop their skills and career pathways through on the job learning, secondment or progression into a new role.
There are many other benefits to working with us and we know each person's reasons for joining us will be different. Whatever your motivation, we offer a diverse range of opportunities for rewarding and fulfilling careers in a supportive environment.
Our teaching school
The Trent Valley Teaching School Alliance (TVTSA) is based at Tuxford Academy, an Ofsted outstanding school which is part of the Diverse Academies Learning Partnership.
Teaching schools provide high-quality training and development to new and experienced school staff. They are part of the government’s plan to give schools a central role in raising standards by developing a self-improving and sustainable school-led system.
If you are interested in getting into teaching visit the TVTSA website for more information. You'll be able to find out more about the TVTSA School Experience Programme and vacancies for initial teacher training (ITT) through School Direct.
The Diverse Academies Learning Partnership was founded in September 2011. It consists of two trusts linked by a formal partnership agreement: the Diverse Academies Trust (DAT) – a multi-academy trust; and the National Church of England Academy Trust (NCEAT) which is a single academy trust.
